2. Visiting the website and server log files

When you visit our website, our hosting provider automatically processes information sent by your browser: IP address, date and time, page requested, referrer URL, browser and operating system. This is technically necessary to deliver the website and keep it secure (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Log files are deleted after a short time.

3. Enquiries via forms, email, phone and WhatsApp

When you contact us via a form, email, phone or WhatsApp, we process your details (e.g. name, company, email address, phone number, message and, where applicable, photos of your machine) to handle your enquiry and make you an offer (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Form enquiries are stored in our database and forwarded to us by email. We delete the data when it is no longer needed and no statutory retention periods apply.

If you use WhatsApp, WhatsApp's privacy policy (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.) also applies. You are welcome to use phone, email or our form instead.

4. Cookies

We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. If you switch the language, we store your choice in a cookie ("wtt_lang", 12 months). The password-protected admin area uses a technically necessary session cookie.

5. No analytics or third-party services

We do not use analytics tools and do not embed content from third parties. Fonts are loaded from our own server. The "Get directions" link leads to Google Maps; data is only sent to Google when you click it.

6. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21). Please contact wab@wahabtruck.de. You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, e.g. the Bavarian Data Protection Authority (BayLDA).
